What’s New? Summer 2015, part 2
Another Reason to Buy Fine Art…
Art can be a focal point in your room… and not steal the thunder of other objects surrounding it. This painting by Kevin Sloan, “An Unexpected Consequence of Extraordinary Opulence” which was featured in our previous eblast, found a home in this elegant dining room in Naples, designed by Simonsen-Hickok Interiors. We love how the rich chocolate brown plays off the light blue walls and the warmth of the dining room table.
New Arrivals! (And some to revisit)
“Waterspout” by Ran Adler, mixed media (120x36x36).
This organic creation is made from basket weaving material, with some of the edges purposely ‘torched’ by the artist. Talk about focal points!!! What a statement this will make in the right room!
“You Only Feel The First One” by Doug Foltz, oil on canvas (48×48)
Part of the “Coming Home” series, this painting evokes the feeling of sailing and heading home, but finding that Mother Nature is requesting her pay-off for passage.
“Quadro 5” by John Schuyler, mixed media under glass, (9)panels at (16×16 each).
More water.. …or more reflections upon water? This piece can have many interpretations.
“Infinite Play” by Ken Otsuka, oil on canvas (28×40)
Summertime is a time to recharge your batteries. This painting by Ken Otsuka is an invitation to slow down and savor each moment and the soothing sounds of the ocean.
