Aaron Westerberg is a native Californian who grew up in San Diego. Along with music, Aaron enjoyed drawing and eventually took a class in in traditional life drawing.

He flourished in these classes and expanded his focus to include the study of Edmund Tarbell, John Singer Sargent, Anders Zorn and other 19th century masters. These great painters of form, color and light have stayed with him as inspiration as he strives to capture the subtleties that express the uniqueness of his subjects.

Mr. Westerberg ‘s work now hangs in major corporation and museum collections. He has been featured in such publications as 2007’s “Strokes of Genius” a collection of the best drawings from around the globe; American Art Collector Magazine; The Artist Magazine and Southwest Art Magazine. He is a member of the Oil Painters of America, the Portrait Society of America and The California Art Club.
