California artist Lesley Rich is a colorist who recreates the landscape and the figure with lavish brush strokes and rich color. “My paintings, even my landscapes, are more about people. Hopefully, they are an honest glimpse into the beauty of people’s lives.” She travels extensively, all over the world, to capture doing simple every day things. She often paints “en plein air”, on location.

Lesley has been in numerous exhibitions, including the 1999, 2000 and 2001 Alla Prima International Shows; Oil Painters of America; Palette & Chisel Invitational shows; and multiple One-Woman shows in galleries both in the West and Mid-West. Here work is in a growing number of private and public collections.

Lesley is a member of the Palette & Chisel Academy; Alla Prima International, of which she is a Signature Member; Allied Artists of America; and American Artists Professional League.
